About

Every year, over 6.5 million pets enter animal shelters across the country, with 1.5 million being euthanized. Numbers are increasing as a result of the present shelter situation. We, the Pause for Paws, has witnessed many volunteers who gave their best effort to see that these creatures were cared for. Others preferred to offer assistance through donations and sponsorship. We urge you to support and make a donation to the animal welfare organizations and shelters if you think that animals need assistance just as much as people do. As well, adopting means you save a life. When you adopt, you not only save your devoted new friend but also provide room for other animals who are in much greater need, which has a positive ripple effect. No one can provide the unconditional love and companionship that a pet can! And adopting not only benefits you and your new pet, but it also aids in addressing the national shelter crisis.
